annabella artesa amabilis...

annabella pinot noir and artesa chardonnay, two wines that are best described as 'amabilis' - easily lovable and disposed to please.

Yes, it is time to think about things that are lovable and pleasing; forget about the winter cold and snow. Drink wines that will inspire warm thoughts and remind you of all the possibilities and new beginnings the approaching spring has to offer.

2007 annabella pinot noir...
made by michael pozzan with fruit from the carneros region of california. a pinot noir that is concentrated with lush dark fruit and intricate aromas of plum, black cherry and vanilla. this is just a fantastic red to share with a great meal or great conversation.

2007 artesa reserve chardonnay...
made by david dobson with carneros fruit and aged in french oak. this is a wonderfully balanced chardonnay, with notes of vanilla and cream that are not over the top. the wine is crisp with citrus and apple, it finishes with very subtle caramel and smoke.
